Of het nu gaat om je oprit, tuin, winkelpand of magazijn: betrouwbare camerabeveiliging stopt niet zodra het donker wordt. Wat is een nachtcamera?
Een nachtcamera is een bewakingscamera die speciaal is ontworpen om ook bij weinig of geen licht duidelijke beelden te maken. Dit gebeurt meestal met infrarood nachtzicht of geavanceerde lichtgevoelige sensoren. Zodra het donker wordt, schakelt de camera automatisch over naar nachtmodus.
Een goede nacht camera met opname legt niet alleen live beelden vast, maar slaat deze ook op. Zo kun je achteraf altijd terugzien wat er is gebeurd. Dat geeft rust én zekerheid.
Buitencamera met nachtzicht: waarom zo belangrijk?
Veel incidenten gebeuren ’s avonds of ’s nachts. Juist op die momenten wil je kunnen vertrouwen op je beveiliging.
Altijd zicht, ook in het donker
Een buitencamera met nachtzicht filmt dag en nacht scherp. Zelfs in volledige duisternis blijven personen en bewegingen goed zichtbaar.
Afschrikwekkende werking
Camera’s met zichtbaar nachtzicht (zoals infrarood) werken preventief. Ongewenste bezoekers weten dat ze gezien worden.
Bewijs achteraf
Met een nacht camera met opname heb je altijd beeldmateriaal beschikbaar. Dat kan belangrijk zijn bij schade, diefstal of vandalisme.
Verschillende soorten nachtcamera’s
Niet elke nachtcamera is hetzelfde. Afhankelijk van de situatie kun je kiezen uit verschillende uitvoeringen:
Bullet camera
Deze camera’s zijn goed zichtbaar en ideaal voor buitengebruik. Ze worden vaak gericht op opritten, parkeerplaatsen of bedrijfsterreinen.
Koepel (dome) camera
Compact en vandalismebestendig. Veel gebruikt bij winkels en entrees, zowel binnen als buiten.
Turret camera
Een populaire keuze vanwege het strakke ontwerp en het ontbreken van reflectie bij nachtzicht. Geeft vaak nét iets rustiger beeld in het donker.
Beeldkwaliteit en resolutie
Hoe scherper het beeld, hoe meer detail je ziet. Nachtcamera’s zijn verkrijgbaar in verschillende resoluties, zoals 4, 8 of zelfs 12 megapixel.
Meer megapixels betekent niet altijd beter, maar wel:

Nacht camera met opname: hoe werkt dat?
Een nacht camera met opname slaat beelden automatisch op zodra er beweging wordt gedetecteerd, of continu als je dat wilt. Dit kan:

Veel modellen hebben standaard een SD-kaartfunctie, handig als extra back-up. Via de app of software kijk je de beelden eenvoudig terug.
Nachtcamera binnen of buiten plaatsen?
Nachtcamera’s zijn geschikt voor zowel binnen als buiten. Voor buitengebruik is het belangrijk dat de camera bestand is tegen regen, kou en stof. Binnen worden nachtcamera’s vaak gebruikt in magazijnen, hallen of winkels waar ’s nachts geen verlichting is.
Aansluiting en voeding
De meeste nachtcamera’s werken bedraad via Ethernet en worden gevoed met PoE (Power over Ethernet). Dat betekent: één kabel voor stroom én data. Dat klinkt technisch, maar zorgt juist voor een stabiele en nette installatie.
